Audrey Hepburn / Moon River

i just finished watching the 1961 classic - Breakfast At Tiffany's.
i have to say it's an awesome movie.
i've always wanted to watch it but din seem to be determined enough to get my hands on it.
now finally!

i understand now, why pple r so hung up over Audrey Hepburn. i tink i've fallen for her too!
she is gorgeous. really beautiful lady.
may she rest in peace.

the movie was lovely. wad a touching story.
finding true love. not just for money, status and wealth.
but love in its purest kind. 2 pple belonging to each other.
so romantic isnt it? haha!
well this only happens in the movies these days.

before watching the movie, i came across this song, Moon River by Henry Mancini.
when i 1st listened to it, i could say i was kinda captivated by the music and tune.
on top of that, the lyrics is so romantic and touching.
so here goes...
"Moon River, wider than a mile, I'm crossing you in style some day.
Oh, dream maker, you heart breaker, wherever you're going I'm going your way.
Two drifters off to see the world.
There's such a lot of world to see.
We're after the same rainbow's end--
waiting 'round the bend,
my huckleberry friend,
Moon River and me."

it's just so cute how she seeks solace at a Tiffany and Co. shop down the streets of 1960's New York. just standing outside the huge shop, browsing bcos she knows she cant afford any of the items in there. seeing them just makes her feel better somehow.
very cute show. i'm just so glad i watched it.
my sunday is complete. =)
